What is a mirror doctoral project ?

The IDIL graduate programme is financing mirror thesis for the start of the 2025 academic year. The objective of this project is to organize two disciplinary doctoral projects within a common interdisciplinary project. The goal is to approach the same research project through two different disciplinary angles in order to promote interdisciplinarity: methods and references specific to each of the disciplinary fields involved must therefore be used.

A close collaboration since the definition of the project and a coordinated response from two thesis directors (the two project holders) are required.

In 2025, 6 mirror doctoral project, for a total of 12 doctoral contracts will be funded for a 3 years period.
